With Homeland Security a national priority, the protection of military bases, airports, power plants, borders, government facilities, utilities and other high profile targets is a necessity.
FOMGuard offers a unique perimeter security system that is tested and proven to be impenetrable. Currently in operation at Inchon Airport, South Korea and Eglin AFB in Florida, the FOMGuard advance intrusion detection system offers a highly reliable and cost efficient perimeter security system.
The FOMGuard system employs an optical radar technique using fiber optic cable sensors that are immune to environmental disturbances. The system pumps infra red pulses into fiber optic mesh which senses, identifies, and immediately locates any stretching or break in the mesh, as well as any attempts at tunneling. Any possible intrusion has been calculated into the system structure.
The FOMGuard fiber optic system can be constructed as a new installation or applied to fences that already exist, saving money and construction time. FOMGuard can be integrated into your current security system.
If the fiber optic mesh is cut or stretched, the light pulse is broken, which triggers alarms that are networked with a computer system displaying the exact intrusion location on a computer monitor, while at the same time emitting audio and visual signals to security personnel. This allows for immediate and direct response to perimeter intrusions. FOMGuard detects intrusions with pinpoint accuracy, identifying the intrusion location within 1 meter.
