RSS-3000 Drop Beam Vehicle Barrier

The RSS-3000 is an all-electric drop beam vehicle barrier that is designed to stop or disable vehicles traveling at a speed as high as 30 mph. It provides significant protection for entry points providing wide lane coverage up to 15 feet.

The simple design of the RSS-3000 Drop Beam system requires almost no maintenance, even when there are high traffic volumes. The RSS-3000 has a spring system installed in the electro-mechanical operating system which saves wear and tear on the drop beam system and allows it to be operated manually in emergency situations.

The RSS-3000 is all steel construction, hot dipped galvanized frame with painted post and beams. The main buttress is 3’ wide, 6.5’ long and 33” tall. The support buttress is 3’ x 3’ x 33”. The beam is 3/8” steel tubing, 3” wide by 6” tall. The beam height is 33” to the top from the roadway.

The RSS-3000-MSB is an all-electric drop beam vehicle barrier that is designed to stop or disable vehicles and provide significant protection during special events or during periods of increased threats.

The RSS-3000 MSB provides a 12 foot access control point for event control or in areas requiring increased security access control. On unpaved or uneven road surfaces, the jack system serves as stabilizers to allow for a smooth transition from roadway to the barrier surface.

The RSS-3000-MSB is all steel construction, primed and painted frame, post and beams. The main MSB is 7.5’ wide, 20’ long and 27” tall. The MSB trailer is 54” wide, 23’ long, and 34” tall. The beam is 3/8” steel tubing, 3” wide by 6” tall. The beam height is 27” to the top of beam from steel plate drive surface.
