50mph Barrier Test Video	TOP-RATED ANTI-RAM TERROR PREVENTION SYSTEM The ROADGUARD K12/L3 FIXED BOLLARD, Anti-Ram Vehicle Barrier is the highest rated system approved by the U.S. Department of State. In tests conducted by Calspan Corp, a single fixed bollard in the system installation was able to stop a 15,000 lb. truck traveling head-on at 50 mph. Maximum penetration of the impact bollard was 4.7 inches. The cargo penetration was a negative 10 inches. Advanced computer simulations indicate the same results for 33" bollards, as well as for oblique attempt at penetration of either size unit. Testing and Analysis was conducted under the current provisions of SD-STD-02.01, Revision A, "Test Method for Vehicle Crash Testing of Perimeter Barriers and Gates," dated March 2003.

Easy installation since all components are connected by bolts and nuts. Minimal weld requirements (less than 5 minutes per bollard). A three to five bollard system can be completely installed on-site in just a few hours. The bollard system should be completely functional in a few days. Fixed bollards can span any distance required. The 39'' posts on 4 ft centers make spanning long distances very economical.
