Mid-size Airport Barricade

Available in Orange (Item: RGMARO) and White (Item: RGMARW), these barricades are 96" long, 24" high and 14" wide. Rapidly deployable, these cost-effective runway, safety and security barricades prevent access to hazardous work areas and/or runways by forming a continuous wall that will not interfere with air traffic.

Weighing only 37 pounds, the barricades can be placed manually, and once positioned can be filled with more than 745 pounds of water. Sloped recesses allow for installation of 6" x 72" hi-intensity reflective sheeting on both sides.

The units have a vandal-proof locking mechanism, and positions for flashing solar or battery powered lights. The barricades have been tested to withstand taxi-speed jet blasts. The tests were conducted by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey at Newark International Airport.

Low Airport-Runway Barricade

Available in Orange (Item: RGLARO) and White (Item: RGLARW), these interlocking barricades are 10" high, 96" in length/84" interconnected length, and 10" wide. This frangible, portable water-ballasted plastic barricade weighs only 28 pounds empty, but 260 pounds filled with water.

Barricades have attachment areas for 2 flashing lights and pre-molded holes for white and red flags. Sloped recesses allow for installation of 6" x 72" hi-intensity reflective sheeting on both sides.

Designed to delineate runways and construction zones, these barricades meet the minimum requirement of FAA AC 150/5370-2E. They are FOD free and Jet-blast tested.
